So, I've realized that I like to talk about alot of different things though, I haven't been here for awhile. I've decided maybe I should do like others have done and post about certain things on certain days. Anyway, So, what's today...Tuesday. Ok, so let's say every other Tuesday I will post about movies. Later I will pick a day to write about what's going on in my head. There's just so much swirling around right now, and I just haven't the time to put it all down. So, here we go.

A list of some of my favorite westerns.....let's start with the old ones. This will be short, I'm not trying to get into all the descriptions about the movies and why I like them.....well, it started to get long so, I will just start with the 1940's, how 'bout that....

Let's see. So, I went through a long list of westerns because I'm getting old lady brain and had to kind of refresh my mind a little. In doing so, I've found that there are alot of movies I haven't seen. I must remedy that situation.

Not in any particular order.

The 3 Godfathers 1948
This is one of my all time favorite movies. Starring John Wayne, Pedro Armendariz and Harry Carey Jr. It's basically three outlaws stuck in the desert with an orphaned baby.
The Treasure of the Sierra Madre 1948
Starring Humphrey Bogart, Walter Huston and Tim Holt. This one is about two jobless americans searching for gold in the Sierra Madre Mountains
Angel and the Badman 1947
This is another John Wayne film also starring Gail Russell and Harry Carey. A Quaker girl falls for the bad guy. Will he stay bad or change his ways and stay with her.
My Friend Flicka 1943
Starring Roddy McDowall, Preston Foster, and Rita Johnson. Young Ken is given a colt to raise to teach him responsibility and to help him with his confidence.
Rachel and the Stranger 1948
Starring Loretta Young, William Holden, and Robert Mitchum. The last one on my list for the day is about David a widower who marries Rachel, an indentured servant to ensure that his son Davey is raised properly. David pays no real attention to her until his friend Jim comes on the scene.

Well, that's it for today...see ya on the flip side!
