Well, I screwed up already. I missed a Tuesday. Darn it! Oh well, here's another list.

 MY FAVORITE WESTERNS, THE 50'S

Annie Get Your Gun 1950
Betty Hutton Howard Keel

This is a musical about Annie Oakley. Though it is not the best of movies, I still enjoy it.
I added a picture of Barbara Stanwyk below from the movie Annie Oakley because I failed to add it to the other list and I really like this one too. It's from 1935 and is not a musical.

Calamity Jane 1953
Doris Day Howard Keel

A musical about Calamity Jane and her rumored romance with Wild Bill Hickok

Shane 1953
Alan Ladd, Jack Palance, Jean Arthur, Van Heflin

A stranger rides into town and gets drawn into a conflict between a homesteader and a cattle baron.

Oklahoma! 1955
Gordon MacRae, Gloria Grahame, Shirley Jones, and Gene Nelson

This is a musical about two cowboys trying to win the hearts of the women they love.

Giant 1956
James Dean, Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson

There is alot going on in this one running 3 and a half hours. It's basically about money, love, and jealousy.

Love Me Tender 1956 Elvis Presley Debra Paget

Three brothers return home from war to find their fourth and youngest brother has married the girlfriend of the eldest.

The Searchers  1956
Natalie Wood John Wayne Jeffrey Hunter

Three men search for two young women who have been kidnapped by the Comanches. After many years, one of them does not want to return.

3:10 To Yuma 1957
Glenn Ford, Van Heflin

Small time rancher is paid to secretly take an outlaw leader to the next town to catch the train to Yuma to stand trial.

Rio bravo 1959
John Wayne, Ricky Nelson, Dean Martin

A town sheriff arrests the brother of a powerful rancher to help his friend, a drunken deputy sheriff. He enlists the help of two other men, a young gunfighter, and a crippled man to hold off the rancher's gang
